WHAT:
The 2nd Annual Firefighter 5K Run/Walk and The Fireman's Adventure Race. Proceeds of this event will go to brother firefighters battling cancer.
This is a family oriented event. There will be local fire trucks, police and ambulances for the kids to enjoy!
WHEN:
This event will be held on May 5, 2012.
Race starting time - 10:00 am
Registration time - day of event - 8:00 am
WHERE:
The run/walk will be held on a measured, closed course on West Branch Rd in State College. The start/finish line begins at the intersection of Rt. 45 & West Branch Rd. The course will go 1.55 miles which then the runner will U-Turn and return to the start/finish line.
Parking at the Wasson farm (located on Rt. 45) is free for all attendants.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places
- Free food for runners
- Raffle prizes will be given away
